Happy Friends App
Timeline:
Aug. 2020 - Oct. 2020
For a Human-Computer Interaction course, we were asked to create an app that addressed a problem currently facing young people today. My group and I decided to focus on mental health during the pandemic. Happy Friends allows the user to prioritize "happy events" in their day, and encourage their friends to do so as well.
College students and young adults often forget to conscientiously do things that make them happy without scheduling it in their day. When “happy events” are not actively included in a task oriented or event based calendar, they are easily neglected.
